The Glass-Analysis method and program were developed in 1970 by Dr. Gerald G. Glass, the Director of the Adelphi University Reading/Learning Center. Dr. Glass and his wife, Dr. Esther Glass, saw the initial success of the program and developed it into what we see today. Glass-Analysis’s success stemmed from word-of-mouth as graduate students, teachers and administrators enthusiastically spread the word. For more than 50 years, the Glass-Analysis approach to teaching decoding has stood the test of time as a proven method for making learning to read easier for those who do not find it easy to learn.
